Information on data processing
We hereby inform you how personal data collected in the context of the described research project by the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Chair of Marketing and Human Resource Management - hereinafter referred to as TUDa - for the implementation of the study in accordance with para. 2 are processed. TUDa will never attempt to personally identify you using this data, nor can it.
1. Data collected
Demographic data collected by TUDa:
- Age
- State, zip code (optional)
- Information about your education and qualifications
- Information about your profession and employer
Note: TUDa generally does not collect any data directly related to you. Only in the event that you contact us by email, you may give us your email address. Your email address will then always be processed separately from all other data. It is not possible to link your email address directly to the survey data.
2. Purpose of data processing
The questionnaire is designed to assess the perception of robots in the context of work teams. Information about the circumstances of the current situation as well as various person variables are therefore queried. The aim of the study is to better understand the potentials and success factors for the deployment of robots in work teams.
3. Duration of storage
The survey data is always deleted after the evaluation. The data will be deleted after a maximum of 10 years. In the event that you contact us, we will save your email address on a German e-mail server and delete your contact as soon as the purpose of your request has expired and no legal requirements speak against it.

5.Legal basis
TUDa processes the data it has collected on the basis of its legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) to investigate the potentialy of robots in work teams, in order to derive implications for future developments in the world of both business and society as a whole.
6. Receiver
Your data is collected on the SoSci platform, stored on the provider's servers and made accessible to TUDa via a secured user account. SoSci uses encrypted transmission of the data and can under no circumstances view the data you have entered. Your data is stored exclusively on servers located in the Federal Republic of Germany and no third-party software or tracking is used. TUDa has also concluded an order processing agreement with the provider SoSci, which, among other things, ensures a high level of technical and organizational measures. 7. Your rights
Within the framework of the legal requirements, you are fundamentally entitled to:
• Confirmation whether the personal data in question are processed by TUDa
• Information about this data and the circumstances of the processing
• Correction if this data is incorrect
• Deletion insofar as there is no justification for the processing and there is no longer any obligation to store it
• Restriction of processing in special cases specified by law
• Transmission of your personal data - insofar as you have provided it - to you or a third party in a structured, common and machine-readable format
Appendix: Definitions
- "Personal data" is, according to Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR, all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"). A natural person is considered to be identifiable, if he or she can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by assigning an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special characteristics, the expression of the physical , physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person. This can be e.g. the indication of where a person is insured, lives or how much money he or she makes. It does not matter what the name is. It is enough to find out who the person is.
- "Processing" is, according to Art. 4 No. 2 GDPR, any process carried out with or without the help of automated processes or any such series of processes in connection with personal data such as the collection, recording, organization, organization, storage, adaptation or modification, reading, querying, use, disclosure through transmission, distribution or another form of provision, comparison or linking, restriction, deletion or destruction.
